Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Research and Development (R&D) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research, developing new products, improving existing ones, and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies. This role requires a strong scientific or technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to explore new ideas, technologies, and methodologies relevant to our industry. Analyze data, interpret findings, and present results to key stakeholders.

Product Development: Design, plan, and execute experiments and projects to develop new products or enhance the performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness of existing products.

Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes, and conduct rigorous testing and validation of new products or technologies. Document all procedures, results, and observations.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and production, to ensure a seamless transition of new products from the R&D stage to commercialization.

Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions to complex problems related to product development and manufacturing processes.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all research activities, experiments, and results. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management and other teams.

Market and Technology Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for innovation and recommend new R&D projects.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all R&D activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Material Science, Engineering, etc.). A Ph.D. may be preferred for some roles.

Experience:

Proven experience in a research and development role, preferably within our industry.

Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting experiments.

Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
